Released in recognition of Women’s History Month, “Queen” is a smooth, heartfelt dancehall-reggae record that celebrates women not only for their beauty, but also for their strength, influence, and ability to inspire. The track centers on admiration for a woman who uplifts those around her, motivates growth, and carries herself with undeniable presence.
Jenelle Alexia of A’Legends Productions says the song was created as a tribute to women who lead with purpose and leave a lasting impact.
Vershon describes “Queen” as a song rooted in real emotion, highlighting the kind of woman whose presence inspires growth, encourages accountability, and brings out the best in those around her.
“Queen” serves as the lead single from the upcoming EP, To A Queen, an empowerment-driven project dedicated to women while also making space for reflection on a man’s inner growth, emotions, and accountability. The project aims to create a balanced narrative by honoring women and encouraging men to evolve, appreciate, and lead with intention.
Currently on tour in Costa Rica, Vershon continues expanding his global reach, building on past performances in Gambia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He has also earned recognition for records such as “Inna Real Life” and “Used to Hungry.”
For Jenelle Alexia, the release marks another step forward in her work through A’Legends Productions, where music production meets culture, storytelling, and meaningful messaging for audiences across the world.
